| On September 11, 1967, the first episode of The Carol Burnett Show aired on CBS. Carol’s supporting cast- Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence, and Lyle Waggoner- made the show the classic it is to this day. Skits like As the Stomach Turns, Mama’s Family, and The Old Folks are just a few of the endearing sketches the show produced every week for eleven years.
